Capsule Wardrobe: Round Two

In a few short weeks I’ll be heading into my second season with a Capsule Wardrobe. Up until New Years Day I had no idea what a Capsule Wardrobe was (I’d soon find out it’s the best kind of wardrobe there is!). I was missing out. But now I’m onboard and totally loving it.

For those unfamiliar with the Capsule Wardrobe concept, Un-Fancy Blog has some awesome articles to fill you in, and printables to get you started.

Generally the idea is that you pare down your wardrobe to just the items you’ll wear that season. Sounds a lot like the wardrobe shuffle a lot of us with smaller closets are used to – stowing away our parkas and sweaters in the summer, and tucking away our short shorts and bikinis in the winter. But the Capsule Wardrobe goes a little bit further, by restricting the number of items you’re allowed to keep in your closet. The idea being that you’re left only with those clothes that look fantastic for the season and work well together.

I’m stoked for spring because it’s like a puzzle putting these wardrobes together. Plus it makes for a great opportunity to purge all your old, frumpy wares or frocks that just don’t make you feel like they once did.

And let’s face it, all your clothes should make you feel like the amazing human being that you are! Am I right?!

What does your capsule wardrobe look like for Spring 2015?
